Barbra Streisand - Model Inspiration.
I posted my cover of Dazed & Confused a few days back and now I get to show you one of the editorial pictures! One of my personal icons has always been Barbra Streisand. Besides being a amazing performer, one thing that always stands out to me is how elegantly she holds her hands in pictures and on film (go, Google it for yourself!). She never forgets to pose her fingers and so whenever I model I always think “Barbra Streisand hands”. That’s my little modeling secret of the day…
P.S As added proof I adore Barbra, here is a video of me with photographer Nigel Barker, posing to “Don’t Rain On My Parade” a few months back.
VENICE UNMASKED - Americana Manhasset.
Three months ago on my facebook I posted an album of iPhone pictures taken in Venice but now I can finally reveal what exactly I was there for! Americana Manhasset invited me to be a part of their fall campaign, shooting on location amongst the beautiful canals, bridges and palazzos of Venice, Italy. This was the second time I worked with Americana Manhasset on a fashion film, you might remember in 2007 we shot a great little feature together in Paris (link HERE).
Have a look at this short film and coming up next is the behind the scenes video which I think is equally fun!

LYTRO - behind-the-scenes.
Yesterday I posted some of the amazing new images we created with photographer Eric Cheng and the revolutionary LYTRO camera technology. If you haven’t seen and played with the images already, I invite you to scroll down and give them a try. Using much more conventional camera technology, James also created a little behind-the-scenes of this Conran family shoot (James was was the Art Director and his sister Rebecca was the Stylist!).
Please notice, even my niece, Faye, makes a cameo (she’s the tiny Chihuahua).
